1: Add VAT to the original amount:

  • Total amount = Original amount + (Original amount * VAT rate / 100)

2: Remove VAT from the total amount:

  • Principal amount = Total amount / (1 + VAT rate / 100)

3: VAT amount from total amount:

  • VAT amount = Total amount – (Total amount / (1 + VAT rate / 100))

4: VAT amount from basic amount:

  • VAT amount = original amount * VAT rate
